Coaching for Teaching and Learning

Coaching for Teaching and Learning is designed to provide you with the necessary coaching skills to assist teachers within your own school or other schools in improving their classroom practice.

Who is it for?

Coaching for Teaching and Learning is for:

  • middle leaders in schools involved in improving standards of teaching and learning
  • staff involved in helping colleagues in other schools improve teaching and learning

What do I get?

As a participant you will:

  • gain command of a well-researched coaching framework to assist teachers within your own school or from other schools to improve their teaching practice
  • gain, through practising and refining your coaching practice, a clear understanding of how to apply these skills directly in the classroom
  • receive intensive skill development in a workshop setting followed by practical application in your own organisation
  • gain a clear understanding of how to inspire excellent teaching in others

Dates and costs

This programme is available to schools, groups of schools, clusters and teaching school alliances. The times and dates of these programmes can be arranged to suit the needs of your group.

pound sign icon The optimum group size is 15 participants at a price of £6,250. The cost includes the following:

  • high quality facilitation from two experienced learning consultants, at least one of which will have a headteacher background
  • three face-to-face sessions (two half day and one full day)
