We have an experienced events team who offer a high standard of service with a smile. We have a wealth of experience in organising and hosting events, ranging from small meetings to large national conferences.

We can tailor our services to meet your individual needs and requirements. Our team can help with the planning and delivery of your event, making sure that every detail, however large or small, is catered for and flawlessly executed.

At CEL, we can offer the following rooms for hire:

• Two purpose built, air conditioned training rooms: each providing a comfortable, high specification working environment
• Two seminar rooms: suitable for meetings or as break-out rooms to complement the training rooms
• Three meeting rooms
• An ICT suite: containing 18 PCs, internet access and printing facilities
• A boardroom: for executive/formal meetings or interviews
• A bright, spacious atrium: ideal for lunch or evening receptions

All our rooms are air conditioned (excluding the atrium).

We have a large dining room, atrium and coffee lounge, in which refreshments are available.

If you require catering for your event, we offer buffets, canapés and light lunches to suit all budgets and dietary requirements. Our team can arrange this with our preferred caterers, a well-established local firm. Read one of our sample menus.

CEL is ideally located, 15 to 20 minutes from Manchester city centre, at The University of Manchester Oxford Road campus. There is nearby parking and excellent public transport links.

Opening hours

CEL is open from 8.30 until 17.00 Monday to Friday.

Rates are available in our downloadable brochure and include room hire, full AV hire, refreshments and catering. However discounted rates may available for our training rooms, from Mondays to Fridays, subject to availability.
